Altera Overview:
As programmable logic device (PLD) densities continue to increase, Altera recognizes that designers require tools and expertise that will increase productivity and allow them to keep pace with the increasing capacity of PLDs.
The Altera Consultants Alliance Program (ACAP), is specifically designed to provide expert
design assistance to users of Altera PLDs and help them quickly get their products to market.
Additionally, consultants specialize in niche areas, which makes them profoundly effective at
solving specific problems and facilitating time-to-market needs.
The ACAPSM program identifies consultants based on their knowledge of Altera device architectures and tools
,and refers their services and expertise to designers through Altera's broad marketing and sale channels.
Consultants are independent contractors.
As such, the consultant is solely
responsible for contractual agreements with the designer.
Altera carefully selects each ACAP consultant. By recruiting a diverse group of consultants, Altera is offering a spectrum of experts
who can help designers and accelerate their design cycle times.
ACAP consultants are required to attend training sessions provided by Altera, and are encouraged
to re-attend future training sessions.
